Our partnership with OpenText: Helping women and children impacted by domestic violence
Yellow Brick House and OpenText share a longstanding partnership built on compassion and community. Together, we’ve worked to support women and children who have faced domestic violence through hands-on volunteering, financial contributions, and advocacy. OpenText has participated in a variety of initiatives, such as Nights of Safety, yard clean-up days, and International Women’s Day care packages. This partnership has been extremely impactful and inspirational, paving the way for other organizations to join our mission.
Support through corporate volunteering
In recent months, the OpenText team has made a tangible difference through meaningful volunteer efforts on our campus. Here’s a glance at our partnership:
- In March 2025, OpenText staff worked together to create care packages for our shelter clients. The care packages provide essential household and self-care items for women and children in their time of need.
- In May 2025, a group of OpenText employees joined forces for a seasonal yard cleanup to provide a safe and clean green space for our clients and children. This area provides individuals with a place to get exercise and fresh air, supporting their mental health.
Throughout the years, OpenText has also made financial donations to Yellow Brick House to sustain our efforts. Every contribution helps us keep our shelter services and outreach programs running year-round.
