Grainger Lends a Hand to Support Yellow Brick House and the Families We Serve
Creating safe, welcoming, and functional spaces is an important part of the support Yellow Brick House provides to women and children impacted by domestic violence. Grainger Canada has helped us do just that through ongoing, hands-on volunteer support across our organization.
Over the past several months, Grainger Canada employees have taken on projects ranging from shelter and outdoor clean-ups to warehouse organization, administrative support, and furniture assembly. Whether working behind the scenes or helping improve the spaces families use every day, their team has been ready to lend a hand where it is needed.

Helping care for the spaces families call home
For families arriving at Yellow Brick House, our shelters are more than buildings. They are places where women and children can find safety, stability, and support as they begin to rebuild their lives.
Grainger Canada volunteers have helped maintain and improve these environments through seasonal clean-ups and beautification projects, while also tackling practical projects like assembling furniture and organizing donated items in our warehouse.
This hands-on support helps our team keep essential spaces and resources organized, comfortable, and ready for the families who rely on them.
We sincerely appreciate Grainger Canada and its employees for continuing to dedicate their time and energy to Yellow Brick House. Their willingness to take on a variety of projects has made a meaningful difference throughout our organization.
