Yellow Brick House is excited to be launching its 2nd free online training tool!
Meet Kamal, Li and Marcel; our virtual Public Education ambassadors who will lead teachers and youth workers through this online training course that will help to “make it easier to talk to youth about the tough stuff”.
The course will use Kamal, Li and Marcel’s experiences throughout some of their elementary school lives to raise awareness about the following topics:
- Healthy Relationships
- Gender Stereotypes
The Ontario Trillium Foundation has made this course available through a generous 3-year grant. With awareness expanded from this training we hope that participants will feel more knowledgeable, confident, and better equipped to facilitate meaningful discussions with their students regarding the intersecting issues that influence healthy relationships.
The entire training should take approximately 60 minutes depending on your individual abilities. It has been organized into six different sections. We hope you are able to complete it easily, at your own pace. Upon successful completion of the course you are able to acquire a Certificate of Completion by successfully answering questions at the end.
